Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• Minimum 10 years relevant engineering experience

• Broad experience on civil infrastructure projects

• Familiarity with Operational and Maintenance requirements

• Professional Engineer Chartered Member is beneficial but not required

• Project management experience will be highly regarded

Key Responsibilities of the Role/s

Reporting to a Smart Nine Program Manager, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):

• Review of civil infrastructure designs for compliance with the contract, industry standards and achieve functional requirements;

• Clearly articulate advice on infrastructure design and construction methodology;

• Carry out on-site surveillance of contractor works ensuring technical delivery; and

• Ensure whole-of-life operational and maintenance requirements are met

• Strength in ensuring the best for Client quality outcomes are achieved

We are looking for a Senior Engineer (Civil) to join our team on a full/part-time basis on one of Australia’s largest engineering projects in Brisbane. Smart Nine is a trusted provider of engineering services working on multiple large complex Engineering projects across Australia. This role requires a dedicated, process-driven individual who has great knowledge in a wide range of civil construction disciplines and the operation and maintenance of major road projects.
